Buffalo traded down twice, ultimately moving out of the first round to select Keon Coleman as the first pick of the second round during last Friday’s draft. Coleman expressed his positive experience during his visit to the Bills facility before the draft, indicating his intention to return. Allen welcomed him warmly, indicating mutual satisfaction with how things unfolded in the early stages of the draft.
Coleman shared Allen’s text message, expressing Allen’s eagerness to play alongside him and stating his own desire to team up with the quarterback. With the departure of Gabe Davis in free agency, there are ample opportunities for Coleman, who showcased his talent with 11 touchdowns at Florida State last season, to demonstrate his readiness as the new top receiver in Buffalo’s depth chart.
