Raised not far from Cleveland, Ronan Chambers has been entrenched as an offensive lineman since his freshman year of high school. Finishing high school at approximately 270 pounds, he committed to the Akron Zips, assuming the role of a starting player last season. Now, he’s embracing the next chapter, having recently signed with the Auburn Tigers after a successful official visit. Standing tall at 6-6 and weighing 305 pounds, Chambers views the challenge of competing in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and vying for playing time as an irresistible opportunity.
“I had been in communication with Auburn for a few weeks,” Chambers shares with Auburnundercover.com. “I visited last weekend and received a comprehensive tour of the campus and facilities. The presentation and discussions about the program were compelling. Playing in the SEC against top-notch opponents every week is a thrilling prospect. It really energized me. Ultimately, I believed it was the right move for me.”
