Fulshear (Tex.) Katy Jordan wide receiver Andrew Marsh is scheduled to embark on an official visit to Kentucky starting Tuesday, June 18. In addition to this visit, Marsh has arranged official visits with Washington or Penn State on May 31, USC on June 7, Texas on June 14, and Oklahoma on June 21.
Marsh’s recruitment is being spearheaded by wide receivers coach Daikiel Shorts Jr., who had previously recruited him during his tenure at Houston. Marsh has made two unofficial visits to Lexington since Shorts joined the staff in January. Reflecting on his relationship with Shorts, Marsh emphasized Shorts’ relatability due to their similar ages and described him as a mentor figure with high expectations both on and off the field.
Meanwhile, Kentucky co-defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach Chris Collins recently visited Enterprise (Ala.) athlete Andrew Purcell and arranged an official visit for the weekend of June 14. Purcell, who stands at 5-foot-9, 185 pounds, also has an official visit scheduled with Miami on May 31, with Georgia rounding out his top three schools.
