Officially: The 4-star prolific superstar is so excited to join Syracuse

It sounds like Syracuse basketball is making a strong push to recruit Shon Abaev for their 2025 roster. The reports indicate that the coaching staff has been actively pursuing him, with Coach Adrian Autry even attending one of Abaev’s games during an NCAA live period. With an official scholarship offer extended and visits to Abaev’s high school, it’s evident that Syracuse is serious about bringing him onboard.

Given the attention and effort Syracuse is putting into recruiting Abaev, it wouldn’t be surprising if he chose to take an official visit to Central New York. His talent as an elite shot-maker is drawing interest from multiple schools across the country, as evidenced by his impressive offer sheet.

Abaev’s performance during his junior year and his current play with SOH Elite on the UAA circuit further solidify his status as a top prospect in the 2025 class. While he’s already taken official visits to Oregon and Tennessee, Syracuse remains in contention alongside other notable programs like Michigan, UCF, and Arizona State.
