As we approach June, the recruiting activity for Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry is set to intensify. In the upcoming month, the Hokies will be hosting prospective recruits from the Class of 2025.
Presently, Pry has secured commitments from five players for the Class of 2025. Among those committed to Virginia Tech are linebacker Brett Clatterbaugh, quarterback Kelden Ryan, offensive lineman Carter Stallard, wide receiver Jayden Anderson, and cornerback Knahlij Harrell. Additionally, a four-star running back recently unveiled his Top 5 choices, which include the Hokies.
Virginia Tech makes list for four-star running back John Forster
John Forster, a four-star running back from St. Joseph’s Regional in New Jersey, revealed his final five schools, with Virginia Tech making the cut. Alongside the Hokies, Forster is considering Illinois, Rutgers, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Forster has scheduled visits to Rutgers on May 31, Illinois on June 7, Wisconsin on June 14, and West Virginia on June 21. Notably, despite being offered by Virginia Tech in December 2022, there’s no mention of a scheduled visit to Blacksburg. This raises questions about why the Hokies are included in his final five without a visit planned.
