Kansas state wildcats transfer land commitment of a major contender with another team

Kansas State baseball has secured an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2013. They’ll be competing in the NCAA Fayetteville Regional hosted by Arkansas. This marks their fifth appearance in the tournament overall and the first under head coach Pete Hughes.

Seeded third in the Fayetteville Regional, K-State will face off against Louisiana Tech in the opening round on May 31st. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and the ESPN app, with radio coverage available on the K-State Sports Network. Tickets are available through the Arkansas athletic ticket office.

This matchup with Louisiana Tech will be the fifth meeting between the two teams, with K-State holding a 3-1 advantage historically. The winner of this game will advance to face either Arkansas or SEMO in the next round.

 

 

The ultimate winner of the Fayetteville Regional will move on to play in the super regional. K-State’s roster includes nine players who received All-Big 12 selections this season. Fans can stay updated on the team’s progress through the K-State website and social media channels.
