Major news: Virginia tech land another 4-star commitment with another team

Recruitment activity is set to increase for Virginia Tech’s head football coach, Brent Pry, in the coming month. One prospect, planning to announce his decision in June, disclosed his final three choices, with the Hokies being among them.

Terrance Edwards, a four-star defensive back from Richmond, Virginia, and part of the Class of 2025, revealed his top three schools on his X account: Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Michigan State. Virginia Tech appears to be a frontrunner for his commitment, particularly with his announcement scheduled for June 22.

According to 247Sports’ Crystal Ball Prediction, Edwards is likely to choose Virginia Tech, a sentiment echoed by On3 Sports. Edwards visited the campus officially in March, and it’s anticipated that he would be a valuable addition to Virginia Tech’s defensive setup, especially under the guidance of defensive coordinator Chris Marve and Pry.

In April, Edwards mentioned a conversation with former Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster, who has deep knowledge of the program’s defensive legacy.
