Virginia Tech Set To Land Commitment For Three Star

Currently, Virginia Tech’s football coach Brent Pry has secured five commitments for the Class of 2025. This figure is expected to change as more decisions are anticipated from prospective students after their official visits this month.

Among those visiting is a three-star interior offensive lineman from Maryland, who has scheduled visits with other prominent programs. Pry aims to bolster the offensive line in this recruiting class, with one of the top prospects planning a visit to Blacksburg in the near future.

Amory Hills, a three-star interior offensive lineman from Gwynn Oak, Maryland, has arranged three additional visits this month before the dead period sets in. Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 310 pounds, the Milford Mill Academy lineman will visit Penn State this upcoming weekend, followed by Maryland from June 14-16, and Virginia Tech from June 21-23. He previously visited Virginia Tech in October, where he received a scholarship offer.

Hills has received offers from various universities including Boston College, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Temple, UMass, UConn, Marshall, and Colorado. According to 247Sports, he has made multiple visits to Penn State.

Of the five commitments Virginia Tech has secured for the Class of 2025, Carter Stallard is the lone offensive lineman confirmed to attend Tech. Quarterback Kelden Ryan from Texas and wide receiver Jayden Anderson have also committed on the offensive side.

Pry and his recruiting staff have been actively engaging in recruitment efforts, not only within Virginia but also across the Mid-Atlantic region, particularly in North Carolina and Maryland. Upon his hiring, Pry recognized the importance of building and strengthening relationships in these areas for successful recruiting endeavors.
