Major Breaking: Syracuse Set To Commit With Another 5-Star Talented Player

Syracuse University’s basketball program has recently joined the recruitment efforts for rising star Chris Cenac Jr. in the class of 2025, as his list of offers continues to expand. Standing tall at 6-foot-10, Cenac is a highly regarded power forward/center, rated as a five-star prospect and ranked sixth nationally by On3.

Receiving an offer from Syracuse came as a surprise to Cenac, who expressed his admiration for the school and appreciation for the unexpected outreach. There’s even speculation about a potential visit to Syracuse in the future. Since mid-April, Cenac has been one of six 2025 prospects to receive offers from the Syracuse coaching staff.

Hailing from the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans and playing for YoungGameChangers in the AAU circuit, Cenac is widely recognized as a top-50 prospect nationally. On3 recently updated their rankings, elevating Cenac to five-star status, placing him sixth overall in the nation, third in his position, and first in Louisiana.

According to Jamie Shaw, an analyst at On3, Cenac stands out for his imposing physical attributes, including his height, wingspan, and strength, which have been steadily improving over the past several months. Shaw highlights Cenac’s ability to protect the rim, run the floor, and excel in rebounding, along with his natural athleticism and shooting touch.
