Carthage (Texas) offensive lineman Kash Courtney has changed his commitment from Baylor to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Courtney, who stands at 6-4 and weighs 285 pounds, announced his decision on Tuesday, making him the ninth verbal commitment for Arkansas’ Class of 2025.
Courtney visited Fayetteville in early June along with 12 other recruits. He becomes the second offensive lineman to commit to Arkansas for this class, joining Blake Cherry from Owasso (Okla.). The Razorbacks are also expected to secure a commitment from Connor Howes of St. Could (Fla.), who visited during the first weekend of June.
Apart from Baylor and Arkansas, Courtney had offers from Duke, Houston, West Virginia, Texas Tech, and other schools.
Arkansas’ other commitments include quarterback Grayson Wilson from Conway (Ark.), athlete Quentin Murphy from Little Rock (Ark.) Parkview, running back Markeylin Batton from Atlanta (Texas), wide receiver Kamare Williams from West Palm Beach (Fla.) Central, and offensive lineman Blake Cherry from Owasso (Okla.).
They also have commitments from linebacker Jayden Shelton from Dallas (Texas) South Oak Cliff, safety Taijh Overton from Mobile (Ala.) Williamson, and kicker Evan Noel from Bay St. Louis (Miss.) St. Stanislaus.
As of now, Arkansas’ recruiting class for 2025 ranks 52nd nationally and 14th in the SEC. Here is the current distribution of scholarships on the offensive line for the Razorbacks heading into the 2024 season.
