USC and Lincoln Riley made a huge offer in the 2026 cycle to five-star Composite Nashville (Tenn.) quarterback Jared Curtis on Friday. Curtis, a Georgia commitment, picked up the offer while on an unofficial visit on campus.
USC made a notable move in the recruiting landscape by extending an offer to Jared Curtis, a highly-regarded quarterback from Nashville, Tennessee, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 225 pounds. Curtis holds impressive rankings, being rated as the No. 8 overall prospect and the top recruit in Tennessee according to both 247Sports and the 247Sports Composite. He also claims the top spot nationally among quarterbacks in the 247Sports Composite ranking.
Earlier this spring, Curtis committed to Georgia over offers from prominent programs such as Oklahoma, UCLA, Texas, Florida, Alabama, and Auburn. During his sophomore season, he showcased his skills by passing for 2,522 yards with 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions. On the ground, Curtis ran for 543 yards, scored 13 touchdowns, and averaged 5.4 yards per carry.

The offer from USC is intriguing given their historical selectivity with quarterback offers under coach Lincoln Riley. Curtis now joins Helaman Casuga from Utah and Ryder Lyons from California as the third quarterback offered by USC in this recruiting class.
Currently, USC leads in the Crystal Ball predictions for Lyons, who has familial ties to the program through his older brother, a freshman tight end. However, like his brother, Lyons is expected to embark on a Mormon mission before enrolling, setting his anticipated arrival at USC for the class of 2027.
