Virginia tech bolster 2024 roster with the signing of another standout talented player

Three-star CB Terrance Edwards committed to West Virginia Saturday over Virginia Tech and Michigan State.

Last weekend, Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry welcomed three-star cornerback Terrance Edwards for a visit, leaving a positive impression on the recruit from Richmond, Virginia. Edwards expressed his satisfaction to 247Sports, saying, “Virginia Tech is in a good position, and I can envision myself there, performing well.”

Initially planning a visit to Michigan State, Edwards opted to cancel it earlier in the week and instead set a commitment date for Saturday. He recently revealed his Final Three choices as Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Michigan State. Following his visit to Blacksburg, there was a shift in his Crystal Ball Prediction on 247Sports, favoring West Virginia, indicating that insights influenced this change.

Edwards recently visited West Virginia and came away impressed telling Rivals.com, “The official visit is unmatched,” and “WVU is definitely up there for me.” Apparently, that was all he needed as he committed to the Mountaineers Saturday over the Hokies and Spartans and will be balling in Morgantown.

Louisville Officially Announces Addition of Guard/Forward Terrence Edwards Jr.

Last season, he had 33 tackles, three interceptions, and 14 pass breakups as a junior. He held over two dozen offers including offers from ACC schools Virginia, SMU, Syracuse, North Carolina State, Florida State, Boston College, and Clemson along with Virginia Tech.

Currently, Virginia Tech has six recruits in the Class of 2025, five from the state of Virginia. Last Sunday, to no one’s surprise, Faheem Delane, a four-star safety, committed to Ohio State over Virginia Tech and other schools, even though his brother Mansoor is currently a Hokie. It never really felt like the Hokies were going to be an option for Faheem. Later Sunday, safety Sheldon Robinson, became the fifth in-state recruit to commit to head coach Brent Pry.
