During the first night, the quarterbacks rotated through workout stations and competed in the traditional Rail Shot Challenge.

Jahkeem Stewart, a highly-rated defensive lineman from New Orleans in the Class of 2026, visited USC on Tuesday and later attended the Elite 11 Finals that same night. Stewart, who is contemplating moving up to the 2025 class like Julian Lewis did earlier, shares a close bond with Lewis. Stewart emphasized that Lewis’ college choice will influence his own decision, highlighting their longstanding friendship dating back to eighth grade.

“He’s my buddy,” Stewart remarked about Lewis. “We’ve been tight since eighth grade, and our relationship keeps growing. It’s funny how we met – we played against each other in the eighth grade All-American game, and I hit him. He just kept running after that, and he told me after the game, ‘That hurt, I need you on my team in college.’

He’s an exceptional player, possibly the best in the country, if not the top. He thrives on competition and is a great person off the field. He’s definitely a big reason why USC is on my radar because I want to have someone I can rely on and build a future with.”

Regarding Julian Lewis, he reaffirmed his commitment to USC while speaking with Tom Loy from 247Sports.com at the Elite 11 Finals check-in. Despite recently visiting Auburn, Lewis stated, “I’m still firmly committed to USC.” This declaration is seen as positive by USC insiders, with indications that new head coach Lincoln Riley feels confident about Lewis choosing the Trojans. However, Lewis is scheduled to visit Colorado soon, indicating his recruitment process is still ongoing, requiring USC to remain patient for now.
