Over the weekend, the Syracuse Orange added two more commitments for the 2025 season. Head coach Fran Brown focused on bolstering the offensive line with these additions.
First, Djoni Scatliffe, a 6’7” 260 lb offensive tackle from East River High School in Orlando, Florida, committed to Syracuse. Scatliffe, who is currently unranked by recruiting services, received his first FBS scholarship offer from Syracuse, largely due to his impressive physical attributes despite having only one year of football experience. He possesses a remarkable 7’3” wingspan, showcasing his potential on the field.

The second commitment came from Khalil Stewart, who switched his commitment from Maryland to Syracuse. Stewart, standing at 6’4” and weighing 290 lbs, hails from St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia. He is a three-star recruit and ranks among the top 25 players in Pennsylvania for his class. Stewart had offers from notable programs like Boston College, Penn State, Duke, and Virginia Tech before choosing Syracuse.

These additions bring Syracuse’s total commitments for the 2025 class to 24, following the recent de-commitment of Marcus Upton. According to 247Sports, Syracuse’s recruiting class is currently ranked 16th nationally and 3rd in the ACC, trailing only Clemson and Georgia Tech.
