Time to look at whatβs going on for Virginia Tech Womenβs Basketball. The team is back from their brief Summer vacation and back to work. November is closer than you think. GO HOKIES!!!
That’s great news for Virginia Tech! Amani Jenkins, a class of 2025 student athlete from Johnston High School in Iowa, has committed to the Hokies. Jenkins is ranked #43 in the Class of 2025 Junior All-Star rankings, indicating he’s a highly regarded prospect. His commitment adds depth and talent to Virginia Tech’s recruiting efforts, reflecting Coach Duffy’s influence and the program’s appeal to Midwest recruits. It’ll be exciting to see how Jenkins contributes to the future success of the Hokies football team under Coach Duffy’s leadership.

Well, we all know that athletes often have offset class schedules, and the training never stops, either. The reality that itβs a whole new coaching staff really focuses the effort on just getting to know one another for more than PR opportunities. The team is moved into their Summer dorms and now is getting to work over at Hahn-Hurst to get started with their practices, conditioning, and getting used to how Coach Duffy does things behind the scenes. Itβs time for school, too, but the biggest thing to learn is everything that is new.

There is some getting to know you time up on the PR front for incoming player Lani White.
Raven and Liz are always continuing their campaign to help people and families dealing with autism. Raven has been adopted into Hokie Nation and we hope to see the Kitleys at games this season. Theyβve been nominated for the NIL Store Philanthropic Spirit Award for their campaign for Autism Awareness.
