ECHL: South Carolina Re-Signs Forward Jack Adams
The South Carolina Stingrays have announced the re-signing of forward Jack Adams for the 2024-25 season, marking his second year as a professional. Adams had a standout rookie season with the Stingrays, playing in 71 of 72 games.
He finished the 2023-24 season ranked third on the team with 62 points, including 27 goals and 35 assists. Adams also made a notable impact league-wide, placing fifth among all ECHL rookies in both goals (27) and points (62). His nine power-play goals led the Stingrays and were the 13th highest in the ECHL.
In addition to his impressive on-ice performance, Jack Adams was honored for his off-ice contributions. Last season, he dedicated over 32 hours to various community initiatives in Charleston, earning him the prestigious 2023-24 ECHL Community Service Award.

Adams actively engaged with first responders, organized Stingrays’ First Responders Night, shadowed fire departments, made regular visits to a children’s hospital, and was involved in numerous community activities throughout the season.
Before turning professional, Adams spent five seasons in Division I college hockey, totaling 64 points in 142 games. From Boxford, MA, he last played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, where he accumulated 29 points in 70 games over two seasons. Adams was selected 162nd overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2017 NHL Draft.
The Stingrays’ 2024-25 season will commence on Saturday, October 19th, with a home game against the Savannah Ghost Pirates.
