According to Adam Schefter of ESPN Bills has Release another Star Quarterback

Buffalo Bills Release Former James Madison Star Quarterback

The Buffalo Bills are among the rare teams in the league with no uncertainty about their quarterback position.

However, even though Josh Allen is one of the best in the game and despite his usual health, every team needs at least a couple of backups at the most crucial position in the game.

Despite this, it appears the Bills are prepared to take a gamble and start the season with a potentially thin quarterback lineup.

As reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN, the team plans to release veteran quarterback Ben DiNucci.

NFL teams are in the middle of the worst part of the season. Roster cuts. Every team in the league has to trim their roster down to 53, which means 948 players need to be waived, released, or moved to a reserve list by 4 PM Tuesday, according to Adam Schefter.

The Buffalo Bills added another player to that list after they released former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and former James Madison star, Ben DiNucci Tuesday morning.

DiNucci finished the preseason without much action. Throwing for 96 yards and one touchdown. He did the bulk of that during week 3 against the Carolina Panthers, when he completed 11 of 15 passes for 76 yards and a passing touchdown.

He hasn’t seen the field during the regular season since 2020, when he was with the Cowboys and took over after multiple injuries at the quarterback position.

He appeared in three games during that time. Now, he looks at his next endeavor, whether that is in the NFL, trying to make the roster of another team, or joining an alternative league where he could have a lot of success.
