Fans Hope to See Hailee Steinfeld at the Bills’ Home Opener in Week 1
As Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen gears up for the 2024 season opener against the Arizona Cardinals, his girlfriend, Hailee Steinfeld, is showing her support in a heartfelt way.
After keeping their relationship private for over a year, Allen made their romance public by sharing a post with Steinfeld on Instagram just before training camp began. Now, the Oscar-nominated actress is returning the gesture of public affection.
In the latest issue of her newly launched newsletter, Beau Society, Steinfeld gave a special mention to the 28-year-old quarterback in issue No. 5. The “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” star shared details about her recent six-day trip to Paris and her special bond with the city.
She wrote, “What makes Paris Paris is its specificity. I often think about my recent trip there. I was in the City of Love with my love (highly recommend).” Steinfeld also included a GIF of the couple in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Steinfeld shared a charming anecdote from their trip, saying, “Each morning, we set out to find the perfect chocolate croissant. We visited various places, ordered a croissant, and rated them on a scale of 1 to 10.”

Allen had previously posted photos of their Paris trip on July 23, with the caption, “Onward.”
In March, the couple had traveled to Paris for Fashion Week. During the trip, Allen faced some criticism for seemingly rushing ahead of Steinfeld while exiting the car after an event. He later humorously explained that he had to hurry away from the paparazzi after splitting his pants at dinner. He even shared a photo of the ripped pants in the final slide of his Instagram post.
While Steinfeld attended nearly every game last season, both home and away, she stayed away from the jumbotron. However, with Allen and Steinfeld becoming more open about their relationship, fans may catch a glimpse of her at Highmark Stadium in Week 1.
The Bills are set to play the Cardinals on Sunday, September 8, at 1 p.m. ET.
Allen and the Bills enter the 2024 NFL season with a clean slate, but the same goal, to bring home Buffalo’s first Lombardi Trophy. However, Allen always takes things one game at a time, and right now, his focus is on the Cardinals.
“They’re very aggressive. They play with high intensity and give it their all on every play,” Allen said to reporters on September 4. “They don’t have any letups and they work incredibly hard… Budda Baker is a standout back there. The way he gets in and out of his cuts and reacts to the football is impressive. We need to keep an eye on his position at all times.”

During an August 1 appearance on “Up & Adams,” host Kay Adams asked Allen about making his relationship public on social media. The Wyoming native kept his response brief, saying with a big smile, “We love love.”
When Adams asked Allen if he had watched any episodes of “Dickinson,” the former Apple TV series featuring Steinfeld, he replied, “I’ve seen a few episodes.” He added that watching more is on his to-do list.
In a separate segment, Adams inquired about Allen’s relationship with Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid. Kincaid responded, “I think everyone has known about it for a while. Hailee’s great. The No. 1 rule is to tell someone you love them.”
