Jerome Myles, a highly touted five-star wide receiver, has officially committed to Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans. Ranked as the fifth-best wide receiver in the country by 247Sports, Myles chose USC over offers from Utah, Texas A&M, Ohio State, and Georgia, making him one of the top prospects with nearly 30 scholarship offers.
Myles was particularly impressed by the USC coaching staff. “The staff made it an easy choice for me,” he shared with On3. “They have experience with NFL players and know how to develop talent. Plus, the opportunities outside of football are unique; you can succeed in whatever path you choose.”
Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 210 pounds, Myles is already a strong candidate for college football. In his junior season, he recorded 19 catches for 586 yards and six touchdowns, averaging an impressive 25.6 yards per reception. He has also shown his ability to perform in crucial moments, notably catching five passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns in last season’s Utah 6A state championship game.
With Myles’s commitment, USC now boasts 20 players in its 2025 recruiting class, with him being the highest-ranked prospect. “Jerome Myles is arguably the most physically gifted pass catcher in the 2025 cycle,” said On3’s Director of Scouting, Charles Power.
This commitment is certainly a significant victory for Riley and the USC program.
