Four-star defensive lineman Floyd Boucard has decided to join the USC Trojans. He had initially committed to the Oklahoma Sooners, but the 6-foot-3, 315-pound player changed his commitment to USC.
Boucard was born in Montreal and initially played hockey before moving to the U.S., where he started playing football in his freshman year of high school. He quickly emerged as one of the most sought-after defensive tackles in the 2025 recruiting class.
Ranked by Rivals as the No. 17 defensive lineman for 2025, he began his high school career at Mobile Christian High School in Mobile, Alabama. During his junior year, he posted impressive numbers, recording 85 tackles, with 27 for loss and 11 sacks. He also occasionally played offense as a running back and tight end.
Ahead of his senior season, he transferred to Miami Central High School in Florida.
USC defensive line coach Eric Henderson, known for his recruiting prowess, is the main recruiter for Boucard.
Andrew Ivins, scouting director for 247Sports, describes Boucard as “a spry mover” for his size, highlighting his quickness off the line. Ivins believes he has the potential to be a “multi-year starter at the Power Four level.”
With Boucard’s commitment, USC’s 2025 recruiting class, led by five-star quarterback Julian “Ju Ju” Lewis, is currently ranked as the No. 10 class for that cycle.
