Breaking: Two Iowa Hawkeyes Key Players Set To Pathways With Team

Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz announced that senior running back Leshon Williams and junior wide receiver Kaleb Brown have left the team and plan to enter the transfer portal in December. Both players had limited roles this season.

Kaleb Brown announced on social media that he would be using his redshirt for the 2024 season and would not participate in any more games for Iowa this year. However, at the time of the post, he had not yet confirmed whether he planned to transfer.

Kaleb Brown shared on social media that he has chosen to use his redshirt year, stating he will not participate in any more games this season. In his post, he expressed well wishes for his teammates and the Iowa program as they continue their season.

Kaleb Brown has appeared in three games for the Iowa Hawkeyes this season, recording just one catch for 18 yards.

Kaleb Brown, a former Ohio State transfer, made an impact during Iowa’s final six games of the previous season, recording 22 receptions for 215 yards and a touchdown.

Kaleb Brown missed Iowa’s first game of the 2024 season due to a suspension following a June DUI incident.

After leading Iowa in rushing attempts in 2023, Leshon Williams has seen limited action this season, with only 11 carries for 21 yards over three games.
