This continues my series on potential free agent targets for the Braves, organized by position. If you missed any previous installments,
The outfield is a key area where the Braves might invest significantly this offseason. Besides Michael Harris II, there are many uncertainties, and unlike the shortstop position, there are plenty of candidates to fill the gaps.
Does this mean the Braves will pursue Juan Soto? It seems unlikely, but it’s an exciting thought. Imagine an outfield featuring Michael Harris, Juan Soto, and Ronald Acuña Jr. at Truist Park for over 81 games each year.
**Braves Free Agent Targets: Shortstops**
**Braves Free Agent Targets: Left Field**
**Braves Free Agent Targets: Right Field**
– **Juan Soto**
– **Anthony Santander**
– **Teoscar Hernandez**
– **Max Kepler**
– **Randal Grichuk**
On a more realistic note, Anthony Santander and Teoscar Hernandez would be excellent fits for the Braves. Santander, a switch hitter, just had a career-high 44 home runs, while Hernandez has consistently hit at least 29 homers over the last four seasons.
Both players will be in high demand this offseason, but the Braves should have enough financial flexibility to participate in those negotiations if they choose to do so.
