The Dallas Cowboys have had a sluggish start this season compared to their typical performance. With a 3-3 record and no home victories in 2024, uncertainty looms over the team. A significant issue has been their struggling rushing attack, and it’s anticipated that Dallas will look to resolve this before the trade deadline.
Dallas Cowboys May Sign Running Back
The Cowboys are expected to sign running back Miles Sanders from the Carolina Panthers before the trade deadline. Sanders, who had an impressive four-year stint with the Philadelphia Eagles, could provide the much-needed boost to Dallas’s rushing attack.
The star running back has accumulated 4,238 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns over his career, including a season with over 1,000 rushing yards. Since joining the Panthers, Sanders has not been a significant contributor, and he may be eager to join a team like the Cowboys, who are focused on winning now.
Despite owner Jerry Jones stating that the team was “all in” on reaching the Super Bowl this season, Dallas did not make any significant additions during the offseason. After missing out on players like Derrick Henry and Joe Mixon, bringing in Sanders could provide a crucial boost to their run game.
