Breaking: FSU receives another devastating season ending injury of their key player

The Florida State Seminoles were already short on running backs when they faced the Duke Blue Devils on Friday night. They played without junior Jaylin Lucas and senior Roydell Williams, both sidelined by injuries from previous games. This situation opened the door for true freshman Kam Davis.

In this story:

Davis performed well for most of the game but made a crucial error at a pivotal moment. As Florida State aimed to tie the game in the fourth quarter, Davis fumbled during a run, allowing the defense to recover the ball. To add to the troubles, he remained on the field afterward, appearing to suffer a lower-body injury.

The Georgia native was eventually helped off the field and taken to the medical tent, leaving his ability to return to the game uncertain.

Before Davis’s injury, he had a career-high performance, rushing 14 times for 63 yards. Without him, the Seminoles will rely on Lawrance Toafili to step up.

NoleGameday will keep providing updates as needed.
