CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – The Carolina Panthers are trading star wide receiver Diontae Johnson to the Baltimore Ravens, sources informed WBTV on Wednesday, October 29.
According to league sources, Carolina will send Johnson along with a 6th-round pick in the 2025 draft to Baltimore in exchange for a 5th-round pick in the same year.
Carolina acquired Johnson in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers back in March, sending a 6th-round draft pick and cornerback Donte Jackson to Pittsburgh in exchange for Johnson and a 7th-round pick.
In just five games with the Panthers, Johnson established himself as the primary receiver, recording 357 receiving yards, 30 catches, and three touchdowns.
Had he played all 17 games for Carolina this season, he was on track to exceed 1,000 receiving yards.
