Bills Rumor About Cornerback Rasul Turning Heads

Buffalo Bills cornerback Rasul Douglas, a third-round pick from the 2017 draft, always believed he belonged in the NFL. After a mixed start to his career with the Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers, he found stability with the Green Bay Packers, where he started for three seasons.

However, it’s been his past three seasons with the Bills that have highlighted Douglas’ skills as a top cover corner and integral part of an elite defense. With his contract ending after the 2024 season, ESPN suggests an extension in Buffalo could be on the horizon—a sentiment Douglas shares.

“The Bills appear open to extending Douglas, who has fit in smoothly since his 2023 trade, though they must also consider the budget for emerging corner Christian Benford, a free agent in 2026,” wrote ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. “Buffalo also has 2022 first-round pick Kaiir Elam, who could step into a starting role if Douglas departs.”
