$80 Million Star Predicted To Ditch Bears, Hit Comeback Year With NFC Rival

The preseason buzz surrounding the Chicago Bears’ offense has largely fizzled through nine games, as the unit has faltered during a three-game losing streak.

Heading into their Week 11 clash with the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field, the Bears have gone 23 straight possessions without scoring a touchdown. While the struggles of an injury-riddled and underperforming offensive line—failing to protect rookie quarterback Caleb Williams—stand out as the team’s biggest issue, the highly touted group of skill players has also fallen short of expectations.

Even so, under better circumstances, stars like Keenan Allen could potentially bounce back to form. However, at 32 years old and with a history of injuries, Allen’s future in Chicago looks uncertain. Without a significant contract extension—which seems unlikely given his injuries and lack of production this season—it’s doubtful he will remain with the Bears in 2025.

As a result, Keenan Allen is expected to seek a fresh opportunity when free agency opens in March. Kristopher Knox of *Bleacher Report* predicted on Saturday, November 16, that such a move could reignite his career.

“Like fellow receiver DJ Moore, Allen has experienced a sharp decline in his numbers. However, with improved coaching, a more cohesive offense, and a more efficient quarterback, he could return to the level of production he often achieved with the Los Angeles Chargers,” Knox wrote. “Allen might find the idea of joining [Saquon] Barkley in Philadelphia appealing. The Eagles have been searching for a reliable third receiver to complement A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, and Allen’s ability to play both inside and outside makes him an ideal fit for that role.”
