49ers DE Nick Bosa on Bills QB Josh Allen: “He Flops a lot”

This week, Nick Bosa was questioned about facing Bills quarterback Josh Allen, the 49ers’ upcoming opponent.

Here’s how Bosa responded.

Q: What makes Josh Allen such a challenging opponent?

BOSA: “He’s got everything. He can go through his reads, make any throw, look off defenders, run for first downs, and even run people over. He flops a lot and slides, so it’s tricky—you’re never sure when to hit him or not. But he’s as good as they come.”

Q: How do you think the weather will affect your defensive approach?

BOSA: “I don’t think it changes much because Josh can make any throw, no matter the wind. Nick Sorensen was just saying it doesn’t really affect how he plays, so it doesn’t change how we play either.”

Q: How would you explain the experience of not attending the game in person and having to watch it on TV instead?

BOSA: “It felt strange. I haven’t watched a Niners game on TV in a long time. You definitely notice a lot more details, but obviously, it wasn’t the best game for us, so it was a bit stressful.”

Q: Did you spot anything that you could use to your benefit?

BOSA: “I’m not sure about that. It’s just different perspectives—you can see more and get a better sense of the game’s flow and what’s happening.”
