Bills Captain’s Wife Shares Thrilling News Ahead of Patriots Game

The Buffalo Bills aim to secure their ninth straight win as they host the New England Patriots at Highmark Stadium in Week 16. With an 11-3 record, the Bills currently hold the second seed in the AFC following their victory over the Detroit Lions. In their 48-42 win against the Lions at Ford Field, linebacker Terreal Bernard led the team in tackles for the second consecutive week, recording 10 stops.

The third-year player, who was voted a team captain alongside quarterback Josh Allen, has been a standout this season. After Buffalo’s 30-21 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Bernard was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance, which included a team-high eight tackles, a sack, and a game-clinching interception.

During the team’s bye week, Bernard secretly tied the knot with his fiancée, Tayler Bernard. Ahead of their Sunday matchup with the Patriots, the couple made an exciting announcement.

Tayler Bernard shared the exciting news on Instagram that she and Terreal are expecting their first child together. The announcement quickly sparked an outpouring of congratulations on social media. One fan playfully commented, “Another Bills bby,” referencing the recent pregnancy announcement from Bills quarterback Shane Buechele and his wife, Paige, who are expecting a baby girl.

Another fan joked, “He’s about to have 10 forced fumbles and a pick-6.” One supporter wrote, “Our offensive captain getting married, our defensive captain becoming a father for the first time… yeah, this is the year, man.” While Josh Allen has been on a tear since proposing to Hailee Steinfeld, Bernard has also been dominating since tying the knot.

Bernard got married the same week Allen announced his engagement and the Bills have been unstoppable ever since.

Over the past three weeks, Josh Allen has been on fire, throwing for 852 yards and seven touchdowns without any interceptions, while also rushing for 168 yards and six touchdowns. Meanwhile, Terreal Bernard has tallied 29 total tackles during that stretch. While the Bills are heavily favored to beat the New England Patriots on December 22, defensive coordinator Bobby Babich emphasized that the team won’t take the matchup lightly.

“I think the biggest thing is we stay in the process that we know works for us,” Babich told reporters. “No matter the opponent, no matter the week of the season, once we find our groove, we need to stay in that groove, and that’s very important.”
