MAJOR BREAKING: Dodgers Reportedly Pursuing Blockbuster Trade For $85 Cubs Million Slugger

The Los Angeles Dodgers have already made some significant moves this offseason, but they’re still pursuing additional talent. One of their targets is outfielder Teoscar Hernández, who played a key role in the Dodgers’ 2024 World Series championship. However, Hernández is in high demand from multiple teams. If Los Angeles misses out on re-signing him, they may look elsewhere for a replacement.

Bleacher Report’s Julia Stumbaugh recently highlighted a report suggesting that the Dodgers could be eyeing Chicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki as a trade option. According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Dodgers have considered potential trades for both Chicago White Sox center fielder Luis Robert Jr. and Suzuki.

However, Suzuki holds a full no-trade clause, which means he has the final say on any potential move. It’s worth noting that Suzuki reportedly prefers not to remain in a designated hitter role, which he occupied for part of the 2024 season. A potential opportunity to play regularly in the Dodgers’ outfield could be a major draw for the Japanese star.

This move would be more of a luxury for the Dodgers rather than an immediate need. While Los Angeles may not need to make this trade, they could be enticed if a favorable deal arises. One of the key factors in any potential deal will likely be how much of Suzuki’s contract the Cubs are willing to absorb. If Chicago is willing to cover a significant portion of his salary, the Dodgers could potentially offer a young pitcher like Bobby Miller in exchange to complete the trade.
