Ba’Roc Willis, a recruit for the class of 2027, has backed out of his commitment to Alabama football.
“I love Bama Fam,” Willis posted on social media on Wednesday. “Please respect my decision.”
Willis, who hails from Moody, had been committed to Alabama since July.
According to the 247Sports Composite, he is ranked as the No. 57 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class, the No. 9 edge defender, and the No. 4 prospect in Alabama.
Willis also holds offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, and several other schools. On Wednesday, he revealed on social media that he had received an offer from Miami.
Alabama is entering its second year under head coach Kalen DeBoer. The Crimson Tide secured the No. 2 recruiting class during the early signing period and currently holds the No. 4 spot in the 247Sports Composite as of Wednesday.
The team is coming off a 9-4 season, which concluded with a defeat in the ReliaQuest Bowl.
