A popular analyst believes the Buffalo Bills need to focus on one specific thing entering the offseason.
Many are calling for the Buffalo Bills to pursue a trade for players like Myles Garrett or Cooper Kupp, while others believe they should make a big splash in free agency. However, sports analyst Colin Cowherd has a different perspective. He believes the Bills need to focus on improving their draft strategy.
“Buffalo, Baltimore — draft better. Cincinnati, spend more money… To be the champs, you’ve got to physically beat the champs. That’s what Philly did,” Cowherd said.

Colin Cowherd’s point is valid. The Philadelphia Eagles have done an exceptional job drafting top talent in recent years, and Buffalo would be wise to adopt a similar strategy.
The Bills have needs on both sides of the ball. While adding another weapon for Josh Allen is a priority, they also need more disruptive players on defense. With so many possible directions they could take, focusing on the draft could be the key to their success.
If the Bills want to truly take the next step toward winning a Super Bowl, building through the draft is essential. In the 2025 NFL Draft, Buffalo will have access to several impact players in the early rounds. If they can hit on their first three picks and bring in players who can contribute immediately, they’ll be in a much stronger position for a Super Bowl run in 2025.
