The Buffalo Bills have again been connected as a potential trade suitor for Myles Garrett.

The Buffalo Bills are once again linked to a potential trade for Myles Garrett.

As the NFL offseason begins, the Buffalo Bills are once again being discussed as a possible trade destination for Cleveland Browns star pass rusher Myles Garrett.

After their defeat in the AFC Championship, it’s evident that the Bills have more work to do. A bold move for a player like Garrett could elevate the Buffalo defense and address many of the issues they faced in 2024.

However, acquiring Garrett alone wouldn’t solve all their problems.

Buffalo will also need to bolster their offense, adding another weapon for quarterback Josh Allen. On defense, the Bills could benefit from strengthening their secondary, and upgrading at linebacker wouldn’t hurt either.

Garrett has been linked to Buffalo several times, and that connection resurfaced on Wednesday.

ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler stated that Garrett could be a smart addition for the Bills.

“What became clear through the playoffs, however, is that Buffalo needs to add more true difference-makers to the roster,” Fowler noted. “Many around the league agree: Working a potential trade for Myles Garrett or another high-end pass rusher would make sense. The Bills need more edge prowess.”

Adding Garrett would significantly enhance Buffalo’s chances of winning a championship. He is a generational talent when it comes to pass rushing.

In the 2024 NFL season, Garrett played all 17 games for the Browns, recording 47 total tackles, 14 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and a defended pass.

Simply bringing Garrett to Buffalo would strengthen the Bills’ secondary. Opposing quarterbacks would face far more pressure than what Buffalo has been able to generate in recent years.

However, many teams across the league would also love to land Garrett. The Bills will need to be extremely proactive if they want to make a move for him, and acquiring him will likely come at a steep price.
