Ohio State 5-Star Commit With Decision To Flip And Join Oregon Ducks

Just a few weeks ago, Chris Henry Jr., a top Ohio State commit, sparked speculation that Oregon might have a shot at flipping his commitment when he wore all-Oregon gear on National Signing Day for the 2025 class. Now, the five-star wide receiver from the 2026 class has announced the four official visits he’ll be making this summer.

On Thursday, Feb. 18, Henry revealed his official visit schedule: he’ll be visiting Ohio State, Oregon, Miami, and USC in June.

Here’s the breakdown of his visits:

Official Visits:

  • Miami: May 30 – June 1
  • USC: June 6 – 8
  • Oregon: June 13 – 15
  • Ohio State: June 20 – 22

Ranked as the #1 WR in the 2026 class by On3, Henry has been pursued by top programs across the nation since committing to Ohio State nearly two years ago. However, Oregon, led by head coach Dan Lanning, has been especially aggressive in recruiting him.

Though Henry won’t make his final decision for months, the timing of his visit to Eugene—during Oregon’s beautiful summer break—could make it hard for him to resist the Ducks’ pitch. If Lanning and his staff can work their magic, it’s possible Henry could flip to Oregon before the summer ends.
