Not Again: Syracuse Get More Bad News As Another Key Weapon Hits Sudden Unexpected End

Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse University women’s lacrosse team will be without one of its top players for the rest of the 2025 season.

Senior attack Olivia Adamson is sidelined with a lower-body injury, as announced by Syracuse.

Her absence is a significant setback for the Orange offense, as Adamson had formed a strong attacking duo with leading scorer Emma Ward.

In Adamson’s absence, Syracuse has managed just 16 goals in its past two games, suffering defeats to Top 5 teams North Carolina and Northwestern.

She played in the first three games of the year, scoring 10 goals and recording six assists.

The No. 6-ranked Orange will resume ACC play on Saturday, March 1, when they host No. 14 Clemson at the JMA Wireless Dome.
