Virginia Tech Has Been my dream team, Hokies Confirmed Another 4-Star Commit that will Break The Chains

Virginia Tech’s football program has made a significant stride in bolstering its future receiving corps by securing a commitment from four-star wide receiver Carnell Warren of Bluffton, South Carolina. Warren’s decision, announced during the Under Armour All-American Game on January 2, 2025, marks the Hokies’ inaugural commitment for the 2026 recruiting class.

Standing at 6-foot-4½ and weighing 195 pounds, Warren possesses the physical attributes that make him a formidable presence on the field. His junior year statistics are impressive: 59 receptions for 846 yards and 14 touchdowns, underscoring his playmaking abilities.

Warren’s recruitment was highly competitive, with Virginia Tech fending off interest from several ACC programs, including Duke, Georgia Tech, and Wake Forest. His decision to commit to the Hokies was influenced by multiple visits to the campus and a strong relationship with head coach Brent Pry and his staff.
