The Pittsburgh Steelers have released outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon. Moon, who joined the team from the Baltimore Ravens in the 2024 offseason, was mainly a special teams player but also provided depth at outside linebacker during injury struggles.
Since the Steelers chose not to offer Moon an Exclusive Rights Free Agent tender by the deadline, he is now free to sign with any team. Moon missed the first month of the season due to an ankle injury but returned to play in 13 games.
He started one game and recorded just nine tackles during the season. As a pass rusher, he registered four pressures in his opportunities.
The 26-year-old was an undrafted free agent out of Florida in the 2022 NFL Draft. He had 12 tackles and two forced fumbles with the Ravens in 2024.
With Moon now available on the open market, the Steelers may consider adding more depth at outside linebacker through free agency or the draft.
