Breaking: Former Key Weapon For Steelers ”wide receiver” Found New Home With NFL South

Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Simi Fehoko is heading to the Arizona Cardinals. Fehoko, who spent last season with the Los Angeles Chargers, will remain on the West Coast and join the Cardinals, who also added former Steelers linebacker Mykal Walker.

Fehoko played in eight games for the Chargers, recording 8 receptions for 106 yards. Over his career, he has totaled just eight catches. He was sidelined by an elbow injury that placed him on injured reserve, but as the Chargers’ primary blocking receiver, he brings a physical presence that the Cardinals will likely rely on.

The Steelers had signed Fehoko to their practice squad last year after he was released by the Dallas Cowboys, but he was later signed off the practice squad by the Chargers. He remained on the Chargers’ active roster for the next two years.

The 27-year-old Stanford product was a fifth-round pick by the Cowboys in the 2021 NFL Draft. In addition to his role as a blocker, Fehoko also contributes on special teams.
