Texas Tech University’s football team has bolstered its secondary by securing a commitment from cornerback Noah Lewis, a standout from Terrell High School in Texas. The 5-foot-11, 176-pound athlete announced his decision on social media, expressing enthusiasm for joining the Red Raiders.
In his junior year, Lewis delivered impressive statistics, including 38 tackles, 10 passes defended, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two blocked kicks. Offensively, he contributed 235 receiving yards and four touchdowns on just seven receptions. His dynamic playmaking abilities have garnered attention from various collegiate programs.
Notably, Texas Tech was the first institution to extend a scholarship offer to Lewis, highlighting their early recognition of his potential. This initial gesture laid the foundation for a relationship that culminated in his commitment.
Lewis’s decision to join Texas Tech adds to the team’s growing list of commitments for the 2026 recruiting class.
