All-Pro safety sends Pittsburgh Steelers stern warning about signing Aaron Rodgers: ‘I don’t trust him’

In 2024, Aaron Rodgers played but was limited by hamstring and knee issues, and he missed most of the 2023 season due to a torn Achilles. These challenges raise concerns, especially considering the Steelers’ offensive line is still young and unproven.

“I look at Aaron Rodgers and everything that’s happened to him the last few years, and he just does not look like the same quarterback,” former All-Pro safety Rodney Harrison said on Football Night in America. “At times, he’s gonna give you some great moments in spot duty, but overall, I don’t trust him. I don’t trust that he’s gonna stay healthy. I don’t trust that it’s gonna be a good situation.”

Rodgers visited the Steelers’ facility last Friday and has kept communication open with the team throughout the week, leading them to believe that a resolution will come soon. However, Rodgers is in no rush to make a decision, and the Steelers have not pressured him. Any suggestion that the team would criticize him for taking his time is unfounded.
