New York Giants Set To Land Intriguing 3,500-Yard WR

The New York Giants have been active this offseason as they aim to return to playoff contention. The front office has been adding several key pieces to the roster to strengthen the team and improve their chances for the upcoming season.

The New York Giants have made significant moves this offseason, with Russell Wilson being signed as the new starting quarterback and Jameis Winston brought in as his backup. While rumors connecting the Giants to Shedeur Sanders persist, the team has also strengthened other areas of their roster.

Notable additions include cornerback Paulson Adebo, safety Jevon Holland, offensive lineman James Hudson III, and the re-signing of wide receiver Darius Slayton. These moves appear promising on paper as the team works to improve.

Additionally, the Giants are now being predicted to land an intriguing 3,500-yard wide receiver, which would add another weapon to the mix for Wilson—or whoever ends up starting at quarterback.

New York Giants Predicted to Land Intriguing 3,500-Yard WR

Vinnie Iyer of The Sporting News has made an intriguing projection for the New York Giants at the top of the third round, predicting they’ll select Ole Miss wide receiver Tre Harris with the No. 65 overall pick.

Iyer notes that the Giants could benefit from adding a complementary target for Malik Nabers, beyond reliable veteran Darius Slayton. Harris’ size and possession skills make him a strong fit for the offense.

Harris had an impressive college career, playing at Louisiana Tech and Ole Miss. In 51 career games, he totaled 220 receptions for 3,532 yards and 29 touchdowns. Standing at 6-foot-2 and just over 200 pounds, Harris would be an excellent long-term partner for Nabers. Along with Slayton, the Giants could form a potent receiving trio.

While this is just a prediction, it’s one that the Giants should be very interested in if they have the opportunity to make it a reality.
