Bills’ Josh Allen Announces Major Change as Hailee Steinfeld Wedding Nears

The reigning league MVP has stayed off of social media and it’s left the Buffalo Bills in good spirits since.

Being the face of an NFL franchise is no easy task. One of the biggest challenges? Navigating the pitfalls of social media, which has tripped up many star players due to its influence and the controversies it can stir.

That may explain why Buffalo Bills quarterback and league MVP Josh Allen recently revealed, during the team’s offseason workouts, that he’s wiped all his social media accounts.

“Ignorance is bliss,” Allen said at a press conference. “I’m trying to be more deliberate with how I spend my time and where I focus my energy.”

Allen’s offseason has already been eventful. He signed a massive new contract, cementing his place among the highest-paid quarterbacks in league history, all while preparing for his upcoming wedding to actress Hailee Steinfeld.

Shifting his attention entirely to football? That’s music to Bills Mafia’s ears. Focusing on his relationship? His fiancée, the star of the new film Sinners, likely appreciates that too.

With so much happening in his personal and professional life, it’s understandable why Allen would want to unplug from the noise of social media.

In fact, he’s been so disconnected that he hadn’t even heard about cornerback Tre’Davious White returning to the team after a year apart. It caught him off guard—but in a good way.

“I didn’t know because I’m off social media,” Allen admitted during OTAs. “I actually had to ask the equipment manager, ‘Is that Tre White over there?’ Just wanted to be sure… It’s great seeing familiar faces again.”

White’s return is a big boost for team chemistry. And Allen being fully present and locked in with the squad could be just what the Bills need moving forward.
