Oregon State had a fruitful weekend hosting potential recruits, including two offensive linemen from Nebraska. Ren Brown, a Stanton native, experienced his inaugural official visit and was enamored with his time in Corvallis.
He described it as “amazing” and praised the beauty of the city and the warmth of its people, noting the special atmosphere behind the scenes. Kyle DeVan spearheaded Brown’s recruitment and forged a strong bond with the 6-foot-6, 270-pound player.
Brown commended DeVan as both a great conversationalist and an excellent coach. The coaches at Oregon State left a lasting impression on Brown, particularly their unwavering confidence in the university amidst the ever-changing landscape of college football.
Brown cherished the opportunity to bond with current members of the Beaver offensive line, sharing conversations about the team and its culture. Spending time with players like Nate Elu, Jacob Strand, Zander Esty, and Luka Vincic was a highlight for Brown, who found them all to be welcoming and enjoyable company.
With a commitment date set for June 25th, Brown plans to take one more official visit to Texas Tech. Stay updated on Oregon State’s recruiting efforts for the class of 2025 by subscribing to BeaverBlitz and following Angie Machado and Jake Hedberg.
