Stefon Diggs Makes His Thoughts Clear About Josh Allen

Several weeks ago, the Buffalo Bills traded star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, following persistent rumors of his discontent with the Bills. Speculation suggested that his dissatisfaction revolved around Bills quarterback Josh Allen, hinting at a possible rift between the two.

However, Diggs recently offered praise for Allen in his first public remarks since the trade, as reported by ProFootballTalk. He expressed gratitude towards Allen, highlighting their strong bond and the support Allen provided him during their time together in Buffalo.

Before his tenure with the Bills, Diggs spent five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. However, his move to Buffalo in 2020 elevated his performance significantly. During his four seasons with the Bills, Diggs earned Pro Bowl selections each year, achieved over 1,400 receiving yards twice, and led the NFL in receiving yards in 2020.

Despite Diggs’ individual success, the Bills only reached the AFC Championship Game once in those four seasons, despite having a talented roster.

Now with the Houston Texans, Diggs joins a promising offensive lineup featuring young standout wide receivers Nico Collins and Tank Dell, alongside quarterback C.J. Stroud, who impressed during his rookie season in 2023.

The Texans’ roster appears formidable, raising expectations for their performance. Many anticipate their potential to excel in the playoffs, just two years after finishing with the second-worst record in the league. Some even consider them favorites to win the AFC South, with aspirations of becoming Super Bowl contenders in the near future, if not in the upcoming 2024 season.
