John Harbaugh Reveals Thoughts On Lamar Jackson-Josh Allen Matchup

One of the most significant matchups in Week 4 of the NFL season is set for “Sunday Night Football,” featuring the Buffalo Bills visiting the Baltimore Ravens.

While the Bills are off to a strong start at 3-0 and have exceeded expectations, the Ravens are struggling with a 1-2 record and facing serious defensive challenges.

This matchup showcases a high-profile quarterback duel between Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, and Ravens head coach John Harbaugh expressed his gratitude for being part of it.

“These are the moments you’ll reflect on and think, ‘Wasn’t it great to have been there for that?’” Harbaugh remarked, as noted by Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

Allen has been sensational to start the season and is leading the league in passer rating and QBR, and in a Week 3 blowout win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he threw four touchdown passes.

The Bills, despite trading away Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs during the offseason, lead the NFL in points scored, and third-year wideout Khalil Shakir may be starting to emerge as a star.

Baltimore had the league’s best record last season and was picked by some to reach the Super Bowl when this one started, and while the Ravens have their problems, running back Derrick Henry, their big free agent signing in the offseason, is off to a very strong start.

He has rushed for 281 yards and four touchdowns, including a standout performance in Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys where he gained 151 rushing yards.

On the other hand, while Jackson’s passing numbers may not be impressive, he has recorded 254 rushing yards and one touchdown.

Although it’s tough to label a September game as a must-win, this matchup could be crucial for a Ravens team that views itself as a serious Super Bowl contender.
