Last season, Florida State made history as the first Power Five team to go undefeated, win their conference title, and still miss the four-team College Football Playoff. Since being snubbed by the CFP committee, the Seminoles have struggled, going 1-5, including a blowout loss to the SMU Mustangs last Saturday. In that game, former five-star recruit and ex-Oregon State and Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei threw three interceptions.
On Monday, Florida State football revealed that either DJ Uiagalelei or Brock Glenn would start in next weekend’s game against Clemson. Soon after, reports confirmed that Glenn would get the start, as Uiagalelei is sidelined with a broken finger on his throwing hand. Florida State fans quickly took to social media following the news, reacting to Uiagalelei’s injury, which comes after a tough start to his career in Tallahassee.
