Breaking: Texas Bolster Squad Depth In Commitment Of Another Five-Star QB

After Colt McCoy left the program in 2010, the Texas Longhorns spent much of the next decade trying to find a quarterback who could bring them back to national prominence. In Steve Sarkisian’s second season as Texas head coach, he secured highly-rated recruit and Ohio State transfer Quinn Ewers.

Although Ewers faced challenges in his first season, he led Texas to a Big 12 Championship and the College Football Playoff in 2023. Additionally, the Longhorns secured five-star recruit Arch Manning as Ewers’ successor in the 2023 class.
