The Cleveland Browns have traded veteran wide receiver Amari Cooper, along with a sixth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, to the Buffalo Bills for a 2025 third-round pick and a 2026 seventh-round pick, as reported by Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
The Bills have been actively searching for established pass catchers after losing Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans and Gabe Davis to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the offseason. With Cooper, Buffalo gains a reliable No. 1 target who, at 30, still has a lot to offer.

This season, Cooper has recorded 24 receptions for 250 yards and two touchdowns in a challenging offensive environment with the Browns, where Deshaun Watson’s performance has been declining.
Bills fans are optimistic that Cooper’s stats will improve with Josh Allen as his quarterback. Last season, he had an impressive performance, catching 72 passes for 1,250 yards and five touchdowns, marking the seventh time in his career that he surpassed 1,000 yards, even as the Browns struggled with various quarterbacks.
