The Buffalo Bills aim to capitalize on their Week 6 victory as they prepare to face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Last week, they managed to regroup after experiencing two consecutive losses in the weeks before.
Although Josh Allen has played in every game this season, he has been coping with an injured left hand since Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals. Since sustaining the injury, he has been wearing a glove on that hand. While it affects his non-throwing hand, it likely still impacts his grip on the football.
However, it appears that Allen is finally making strides in his recovery, as he was spotted practicing without the glove on Thursday for the first time since the injury occurred.
Regardless of if Allen’s hand is healed or not, it hasn’t seemed to have impacted his play very much. Through six games, Allen has thrown for 1,160 yards, 10 touchdowns and no interceptions. His quarterback rating of 79.2 is the best of any starter in the NFL this season.
Additionally, Allen will have some extra support starting this week, as Pro Bowl receiver Amari Cooper makes his Bills debut against the Titans. Buffalo traded for Cooper on Tuesday after struggling to identify a true top receiver in the first six games.
With a fully-healed Allen and a new weapon against the 1-5 Titans, the Bills offense could have one of their best performances of the season on Sunday.
