While there are no guarantees in the NFL, the Buffalo Bills seem to have a strong opportunity in Week 7. The Tennessee Titans may not be the worst team this season, but they are certainly struggling offensively, especially over the past month.
Their quarterback change isn’t likely to address these issues. With Will Levis injured, the Titans have announced that Mason Rudolph will start against the Bills. Fortunately for Buffalo, they have ample experience facing the former Pittsburgh Steeler.
Rudolph led Pittsburgh to the playoffs last season but had a tough outing in their 31-17 wild card loss to Buffalo, throwing an interception along with a couple of touchdowns in a game the Steelers never felt they could win.
Buffalo has been successful against Rudolph, which should make the organization optimistic about Tennessee’s latest quarterback announcement.
With the Bills already ahead 21-0 in the second quarter, they need to keep performing well against weaker opponents, and the Titans are the ideal team for that as they look ahead.
